Far from representing a form of withdrawal. This attitude is on the contrary a way to demonstrate one’s liberty, originality, and detachment from the group’s codes.
The cult of apperances, the systematic control and touching up of images recedes in favor of the possibility of ex pressing one’s personality in a “truer”, more authentic.
